REBECCA'S BIRTHDAY GIFT: When the granddaughter of Jennifer Marsland, an old friend to the Toy Library, was celebrating her 3rd birthday she decided that rather than her friends giving her presents she would like them to donate money fo charity. The money would be divided between Lil Stockdales and the Toy Library. On the 1st June Rebecca gave a cheque to the Toy Library to add to our funds.

Mayors Parlour: Also on the 1st June were attended the Mayors Parlour along with three other charities to receive a donation from Cllr. Brian Addshead, a former Mayor of Trafford. We received a cheque for £250.

Family Fun Day: Also on the 1st June the Toy Library opened as part of the Family Fun Day between the Schools local to the area This proved very successful and we had a lot of visitors, many new to our service. Some signed up on the day and became members. It was certaily a worthwhile day. .
