Hi my name is Jan, I am the Outreach Toy library assistant employed by SureStart;
I visit all the Trafford Childminding groups approximately every six weeks.

In addition to this I take the service to a number of early years settings these are:

• Hale Preschool
• Old Trafford Playgroup
• Firswood Parent & Toddler Group
• Little People Group in Timperely.

The aim of my outreach work is to offer a high quality, diverse, educational, stimulating equipment and fun toys to Trafford Childcare providers. My role is to help provide an inclusive service at an affordable rate.

At the Toy House we have such a vast selection including specailised equipment available for loan; it is imperative that it can be accessed by as many people as possible. And addition to this through training and working very closely with the SureStart team enables us to provide equipment which meets the EYFS guidelines.
